Like its close competitor TextPad, IDM Computer Solutions' UltraEdit is a combination text/HTML editor package that will satisfy the most demanding editing needs of webmasters and non-webmasters alike.

UltraEdit is remarkably similar to TextPad in a number of areas, especially in terms of standard features, interface, usability, and cost (a TextPad license runs $27, while UltraEdit costs $30). UltraEdit loads quick, performs extremely efficiently, and offers an outstanding set of features. In fact, its feature-set even rivals that of TextPad.
